Student enrollment is open year-round. Class size is limited. Admission to MCA Academy is on a first-come first-serve basis. All applicants are tested prior to admission and grade placement.

MCA Academy welcomes students of all races, religions and national or ethnic origins. Students are selected for admission on the basis of academic and personal qualifications.

Our philosophy is to give each child the skills that everyone needs in order to succeed in today's world, to stimulate the child's desire to learn, to explore, and to develop his or her own special talents.

The goal in the admission process is to identify boys and girls who demonstrate the promise of being successful in the program and for MCA Academy, to predict an applicant's academic success.

Building a well balanced class is an important factor. The admission test will determine the proper grade level and pacing as well as levels of readiness, maturity and skill development. The child will have to demonstrate his or her ability to work independently.

The curriculum is designed to challenge capable children as well as to prepare them to become responsible individuals.The program is geared for the motivated, able, and inquisitive child. Self-discipline, self confidence, and character development are emphasized throughout the child's year.

TESTING

All applicants are required to take an admission entrance test. Children are evaluated individually. The admission testing is not intended to be used for other purposes. It is administrated at MCA Academy and we try to make the session as pleasant and comfortable for the child as possible. Depending on age, the testing session lasts approximately between forty five minutes to two hours.
